The Rosebud Cottage is a 500 sq.ft. luxury cottage/cabin offering private and relaxing accommodations for 2 in a cozy country setting. Located on the grounds of Piney Hill Bed & Breakfast in Luray, VA in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia with priceless mountain views, rolling hills and pastures.
The Rosebud Cottage is the “perfect place” for a romantic get-away; a honeymoon, anniversary or birthday stay. It is the “perfect place” for a relaxing get-away; allowing you to take a break from the stress of work and everyday life. And a “perfect place” for an adventure get-away. The Luray,VA area offers many outdoor options, such as: hiking on Skyline Drive, canoeing on the Shenandoah River, horseback riding, caving and touring the Virginia wineries to name just a few.

No need to do any cooking, a picnic basket containing a full country style breakfast will be delivered to you each morning. We can offer recommendations for lunch & dinner; menus are available. If you’d like dinner reservations at one of our area restaurants, we’ll be glad to make them for you.
You can lounge on the screened porch with a morning beverage, take in a sunset on the back deck while enjoying your favorite glass of wine or whatever your heart desires; this time is yours. In the evening you might consider curling up by the fireplace with a good book or a video from our large movie collection. The outdoor Jacuzzi; located in between the cottage and main house is also available for your enjoyment year round.

There is a 2 night minimum stay requirement for weekends, holidays and FALL SEASON for ALL accommodations.
The Rosebud Cottage, Hurley Byrd Cottage and Mark Ruffner Room or Suite always require a 2 night minimum stay.
To ensure that we have the proper time to prepare for your arrival and breakfast preparation, please CALL to make “same day” reservations before 4:00 p.m.

A complimentary full country style breakfast is provided each morning for all of our guests.
PLEASE NOTE: Breakfast is always cooks choice. Being a small country B & B, we do our best to provide a delicious breakfast for our guests. However sometimes, we are unable to handle very restrictive dietary needs – in that case, we have cereal, oatmeal, granola, fruit, and low fat or soy yogurt available . Please discuss your needs with us in advance, we will try our best if at all possible.
We deliver a breakfast basket to those staying in our cottages.
