Getting married in the area?  We are near several wedding venues that can host your wedding and reception.  Let us provide you with a relaxing, private atmosphere for your honeymoon as well as a lodging option for your wedding party and guests.

We serve our house guests a full hot country style breakfast at our farmhouse-style table each morning at 9:00 a.m. If you are in one of our cottages, the same hot breakfast is delivered to your door at 8:45 a.m. each morning in a picnic basket.

Enjoy the many hiking trails, overlooks and waterfalls along the Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah National Park. Old Rag & White Oak Canyon are a more strenuous hiking options for the adventurous and experienced hiker. Walk & explore our 2 acre hilltop property enjoying the mountain, valley and vista views with amazing sunsets. The full moon rising over the mountain is quite a sight to witness. Relax and soak up the views in the rockers on the wrap around front porch & Gazebo in the garden area. Enjoy star gazing with no light pollution in the evening and chat with other guests around the outdoor fire pit.

The outdoor fire pit is available to guests during the cooler months at your request. We’ll be happy to start it for you between the hours of 5-7 p.m. depending on time of year and when it gets dark.  Please let us know if interested during your stay.  Because of the risk of fire, we may not be able to offer the firepit during periods when it is hot, humid and dry.

Curl up with your favorite book by the fireplace or head to your room with a movie from our large DVD video collection.

We have a couple of outside cats that will likely want to stroll with you.  If you are a cat lover; don’t worry, they enjoy the attention.  If you are allergic, be assured our outside cats are not allowed into any inside location of the house or cottages.
